Facebook Portal is the very first Facebook hardware device that you can use as a smart speaker and for video calling. It comes in four different models; Portal, Portal Mini, Portal Plus, and Portal TV, and they mainly differ in the screen size, camera quality, and functionality. Besides video calling through Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, you can also use other apps on Portal, such as Spotify, and play and control music across multiple connected devices, for example, when listening to songs with your friends online. Some of its advanced features include a built-in wide-angle camera that captures the entire room in a frame, unlike the narrow-angle smartphone camera. Also, the camera is equipped with a spotlight feature that allows it to follow a moving object (person) throughout the room and keep them in focus.
